After three long months of ongoing maintenance issues within our apartment and the building, we are making a move to the TheHighlands. James and I drove around earlier this week just 'browsing the market' and hit the jackpot on a cute and cozy carriage house off Bardstown Road. We're so fortunate to have found this perfect match for our family. Our timing was perfect; we saw the property manager putting up the sign when we drove past. October 1st is our big move day!

A new neighborhood to explore.....new faces...new experiences! Plus, we will be closer to our friends, Charles and Roxanna.

I wish this were our house... this pic is actually taken on the corner of the street...Most of the houses look like this one, though. Just a cute tree-lined street!

Wow. We've been out of touch. Our power is out for 2-7 days and cell phones don't get service either. I'm breaking the rules at work, but I have to keep in touch. Are you buying or renting?? We'll have to come visit this new one when you move!!!
